Urgent Service (same day) for Passport is available only in cases involving compassionate circumstances i.e. same day / next day travel due to death/hospitalization in the family back in India, against an additional payment of $ 150/- and production of confirmed air ticket in original.
The emergency visa applications (from persons of Indian origin, holding US passport) will be accepted at the Consulate on Saturdays/Sundays and other holidays only in case of above-mentioned situations between 1100 am to 0100 pm. However visa for the period of three-months will be issued against the additional fees of US$ 35/-
